So here is a sneak-peak of Lacoste´s new Live-collection. Its young, its vibrant and quite unlike Lacoste´s traditional look. Live is more trendy collection for daily-use of statement clothing and the fun thing is about it, is that girls can easly combine clothes from the male-collection as well ;)
The black and sea-green jacket are from the men´s collection ;)

And I thought Mondays were hard to wake up to, well it seems that Wednesday aren’t that easy either. I woke-up 10am after feeling like slept over a decade, and was actually invited to a birthday-breakfast at 11. Lacoste held their 80-years birthday-bash today. You guys should have seen me running marathon around the apartment to get ready. So I wore my heels and ran into the first cab I could find. I showed up in with the tired but happy face and got the chance to see their new “Live-collection” (which ill post on the blog pretty soon) and I fell in love with Lacoste all over again. Their new Live collection will definitely be their big hit this fall!! Lacoste is rising again.

So until then enjoy the snapshots and its more to see soon, right now I’m trying to find an outfit for an gatsby-party ( that’s actually even harder then waking up on a Wednesday)

The press-week is one of the favorite weeks 4 times a year, where the whole fashion and media industry gets the chance to see the upcoming designs of the next season. well who can’t love that ? Here are my top of the top favorites from Spalt- PR´s variety of the many designer´s F/W 13-14.

Gold is still in for the fall and Cecilie Melli´s Golden Necklace is a modern and classic winner for every season including F/W 13/14

Adidas´coloured bounce-proof shoes stole my heart and just wanted me to hit the gym, but the champagne held me back.

Thomas Sabo ´s watch makes the black more visible then ever, love the minimalistic but yet riches watch.

And yes! white is still in for fall, what says more attitude then Marc ;)

This weekend has been a lazy one, I´ve spend the days watching tv, hanging with my friends and family, and was therfor inspired to style myself in the same laid-back way. So I used my leather-goods from Pilgrim as accessories. I found a leather key-chain and used it as a choker and combined it with a simple leather- chain with gold to make the denim pop!

Nilens Jord is my all time favorite make-up line! I always carry the concealer, glossy lip-balm and the mascara in my bag. I have really sensitive skin which doesn’t allow me to use make-up without getting rashes the day after. I tried every single brand in the market before I found the perfect line. Nilens Jord is a mineral make-up line which is frequently used in the fashion-industry now days, and even my friend and make-up artist Pia Ruud, who I see as the wizard of Oz in make-up, swears to this make-up line. Nilens Jord arrives in all colors and blends perfectly to any skin-colour, which is a relief for people with a darker skin-shade like me. We also used Nilens Jord on our last shoot in Paris when Kathrine Sørland was modeling for the issue. She is also the brand-ambassador of the line. You guys should really give it a try! The quality is seriously worth the money, which isn’t sky-high.

My real imperfection

I work in a field where imperfection is a flaw, which is quite ironic cause we´re all full of them and yet we´re the one who decide that fashion should be flawless. But what about creativity then? I believe creativity makes flaw look perfect, and most of the time we do applaud to creativity, which originally is inspired by imperfection. And fashion is a way of art, then why are we so obsessed by looking-flawless, happy, perfect?

This is a picture of me without make-up, but I still choose to manipulate it to look near perfect ,but I don´t manage to erase the small dark spots on my face, or my un-even skin.
I attend big events, prep myself, use clothes that I think describes my “fashionable-thoughts,” try to represent, different, pretty, ” IT”.

But I am who I am, a girl filled with flaws who maybe wants to create something she´s lacking, perfection maybe. Or something that can inspire people, cause my imperfection is real and so is my creativity.

Børre Olsen who’s the jewelrydesigner of this colorful brand ,has accsesorized every celeb and fashionista in the book through his career. Everything he makes is different, but always easy to recognize the man behind the creativity.
Børre Olsen received the opportunity of a designer collaboration with Glitter last year, which was led to success, and that recalled a rerun. Glitter and So-B have now launched a even bigger and colorful collection this year. Glitter by So-B had their pre-launch in March earlier this year.

So, Yesterday was the day of the Official launch for Glitter by So-B´s second collection at The Edge at Tjuvholmen, arranged by Polhem- Pr .

The Party was a success along with the collection itself. The location was packed of different people with different styles but yet the same love for So-B. I just love how the brand appeals to different personalities, people and to both Women and Men

Mardou and Dean is and will be an all time favorite jeans and clothing brand. Ingrid Bredholt and Patrik Rosnefors delivers sexy, sophisticated yet edgy designs. The two brands I always look forward to see every OFW is Jilani and of course Mardou and Dean. A week before the press week my friend and I paid visit to the store/ showroom at Majorstuen for some drinks, and to see their new inspirational exhibition for SS-13, which is shot directly on the runway during the show in aug/2012. The designer-duo doesn’t just deliver exceptional clothes but also a love story of Mardou and Dean by expressing they´re inspiration captured through lens.

So yesterday became a random makeover-day for my best friend. We were having lunch and suddenly we got the urge for shopping, and we bought him one hot-pair of skinny jeans which may I say is a equal must for boys as it is for girls. He got a new haircut ( where one of the pictures are from) and some new shirts.

Fashion-tips for Boys and gals:

Fitted jeans:

Boys,even thou its spring, please try to loose the chinos. Okay, its comfy, but it make you look older and well… PLANE. On the other hand Jeans makes you look younger, and more edgy( only if the jeans FIT!)
Every man should have a pair of skinny-jeans or a regular fitted slim-jeans in his clothes which can early be combined with both blazers , leather jacket, t-shirts and shirts.
If you aren´t sure about the colors, buy a pair of black jeans, it goes along with everything. Think Black on Black on Black. PS: the best affordable jeans you can find, is at H&M, believe me, you won’t regret it.
I fell completely in love with everything at the mens-department.
For every edgy girl out there, Give it a try, buy some jackets or over-all jerseys from the mens-deparment at H&M its a goldmine!!!

Jeans and gals:
Girls are apperently better at choosing slim-fit, but to become a bit more edgy this season go ahead and give the Boy-friend jeans a try.
If not, take some old cozy light-jeans and ripp them with a scissor. Preppy, sweet fashion-days are over. This season is all about strong and Edgy-fashion.
you can easly use some heavy colorful heels or som pointy moccachions.
Best place to find affordable jeans is definitely At Bik-Bok ( Neverdenim)

The Haircut:
Haircut has a lot to say for both girls and boys to style their wardrobe.

The most popular within Men`s fashion is definitely this one:

It makes your chic-bones rise your eyes more in focus and lifts up your face, while making it look longer.

Girls on the other hand always have more options, but I´ll recommend the ladies to keep their length and try a slick sideways pony-tale.
This hairstyle goes with every single style you can imagine. It gives a laid-back but yet sophisticated look. Goes perfect to a everyday- jeans, cute little dress or a edy-leatherskirt.

Leather jacket:
The leather-jacket is and will be a timeless classic through decades, therefore its a absolute must in the closet. As you guys can see I´ve already sworn to mine.

Black leather jacket is a safe purchase, you can combine it with everything, but please try to avoid a simple one. Leatherjackets can early lift up any wardrobe, but to do that the jacket itself should have some statements on it. Im referring to waist-belts, stiches on the shoulder, zip-details and not to forget a heavy-leather.

The best invest for both females is without doubt a leather-jacket, so don’t be afraid of using a big amount, cause they´ll always be in style.

For the more daring kind, give white leather a try, especially gals.
